Gorilla Island Golf Club was founded in 1908, set in the worldwide famous Gorilla Island.
Gorilla Island Golf Club is set in the beautiful surrounds of the countryside. Come and enjoy a thrilling game of golf on a course which offers everything from deceptively tricky short holes to long but enjoyable par 4’s that make for an all round golfing experience, catering for all playing standards.
This beautiful course was designed by Michael James, founder of Gorilla Island Golf Club. In the early 1990s the course was converted from 9 holes to 18 holes which brought the Green River and the woodland areas adjoining the river into play. The magnificent old trees and the wildlife, mallard ducks swans and red squirrel that roam the fairways and woods made the course an enchanting venue. The golf course is a serious challenge to all golfers and hazards lurk around every corner.
